studio & pre-press...

knowledge, expertise, experience...

Our studio Team have a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise that combines over 20 years experience in the graphics and pre-press industry.

Our fully trained Mac operators regularly encounter some of the most intricate and testing artwork files. We are here to advise clients who wish to supply artwork files with special finishes such as spot U.V, cutting forms, block foils - and are only too happy to help.

Design...

Our design and pre-press guys will bring your ideas to life and ensure that everything works correctly before proceeding to press.

Crescent offer a full in house design service and can create captivating artwork from a clients initial brief or idea, whether it be a business card or a multi page brochure.

Artwork...

Our preferred file format is Print Quality PDF.

Our very own modified Acrobat Distiller settings can be sent directly to you to work with, alternatively we can also accept files in their natural state. We have all the latest Graphics software including:

Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Photoshop
Quark Express
Macromedia Freehand
CorelDraw

Proofing...

Once we receive your artwork file we analyse the files using our Agfa Apogee work flow system which creates a post-ripped PDF file.

This work flow system has a built in pre-flight checker and will notify us if there are any discrepancies with your supplied files. The PDF file is then sent on to you for proofing via email or as a hard copy match print (if requested).
